I made a charcuterie board for the first time and probably broke all the charcuterie board rules since I didn’t really know what I was doing!! But at least it ended up tasting good 😊

So glad that Trader Joe's has so many affordable ingredients for a delicious board 😋 Will definitely go back to try their other cheeses!

I was randomly craving Mac n cheese at midnight so I decided to make it the next day! Who knew that Spudsy Foods sweet potato puffs would be the perfect crunchy topping?

Batch 22 Bakery - Cupertino, CA

 

Batch 22 Bakery is a local business that sells one of the best cookies I’ve ever had 🤩

🍪 Pumpkin spice pudge with cheesecake filling
🍪 Matcha shortbread
🍪 Gourmet chocolate chip

All of the cookies were so fun and had such a deep flavor profile! My favorite was def the pumpkin spice pudge. 🤩I usually don’t like it when desserts are overwhelmingly sweet and heavy — the pudge was huge and thicc but I was surprised when I kept reaching for more! 😱 it was honestly that addicting. Also really appreciated that the matcha shortbread was not too sweet — perfect for me! Overall great cookies and def a great intro to pudges 😋

Egghead Sando Cafe - Cupertino, CA

 

I’m so happy Egghead opened so that we finally have a new brunch place in Cupertino that specializes in different concoctions of the EGG! 🤩

🍗 The Chic - Taiwanese style juicy fried chicken with an over medium egg, a slightly spicy sauce, on a brioche bun. One of my faves since the chicken was so juicy and went SO well with the sauce!

🍳 The Scramble - soft scrambled eggs, cheese, onions, and spicy mayo on a brioche bun. We added bacon to ours and that made it super good!

🥚 Eggy - poached egg on top of 🥔 purée with bacon bits and chive. This was served with bread to dip and was also one of my favorites! We used the remaining purée on our sandwiches 🤤

☕️ Hojicha latte - ok this was probably one of the best hojicha lattes I’ve ever had. I would be down to get this over boba 🤭

Overall I was super impressed with the quality of the food here. With this food, there are sure going to be long lines when people hear about this place!

Yuyu Zazang - San Jose, CA

 

Happy National Noodle Day!!!! 🍜🤩

🍜 Seafood black bean noodle: this was a really solid korean jajangmyeon dish! Bouncy noodles with a satisfying slurp, pieces of 🦐 🐙 🦑 and black bean sauce! I think Paik’s noodle is still my favorite but I really enjoyed Yuyu Zazang for quick takeout lunch that’s located closer to me😙

Myungrang Hot Dog - Cupertino, CA

 

Abs are great but have you had a korean rice dog?

🌭 Mozzarella & Sausage: this is my favorite combo! Half mozzarella for the cheese pull and half sausage because sausages are yummy. Can’t go wrong with this one!😋

🦑 Squid Ink: This is also a mozzarella & sausage combo but with a squid ink batter. I couldn’t taste the difference but it’s so cute with the little tail at the end! 🥺

Myungrang’s sticky rice flour batter is perfectly chewy. And say YES to sugar because this makes the hot dog!! 😋

Beard Papas - Cupertino, CA

 

Japanese cream puffs: probably one of the most underrated desserts but one of my favorites 😝

The shells are thin, slightly crispy, and plain unless you get a flavored one. My favorite shells from Beard Papas are the original (bottom left), creme brûlée (bottom middle), and cookie (top). The focus is on the custard cream anyway, which is cold, silky, not too sweet, and you just wanna lick it allllll up! 😋 So addicting! My favorite filling is def the vanilla 🤤

Sul & Beans - Cupertino, CA

 

I’m craving some shaved ice!

There are so many great bingsoo flavors at Sul N Beans but mango is my favorite 😋 fluffy light ice that melts in your mouth with sweet mango and gooey condensed milk 🤩

Tan-Cha Teahouse - Cupertino, CA

 

Tan Cha’s (milk) teas are amazing but their fruit drinks are just as good!!!!😋

Cheezo peach (left) is a peach drink made w fresh peaches (there are some peach bits!) topped with their delicious salted cheese, and it tastes INCREDIBLE! I think it’s a seasonal drink but pls make it permanent @tanchateahouse 🥺 Def gonna try their other cheezo fruity drinks -- I've tried cheezo grape and I HIGHLY recommend that 🤤

And their grapefruit slush (right) is the BEST I’ve had and so refreshing 😊

RareTea - Cupertino, CA

Who knew that strawberries and salted cheese would pair so well together? Not me (but it makes sense bc of the fireworks scene in the beginning of Ratatouille when Remy ate strawberries + cheese??) 😯 

Strawberry 2.0 Snow Cream from RareTea has become one of my FAVORITE drinks and is made with real strawberries! 🍓 

And for my lactose intolerant friends (like myself), I highly recommend taking a Lactaid for salted cheese + organic milk teas bc why suffer 😌

Pacific Catch - Cupertino

Hello world, this is my first post on this Bay Area foodie blog! What better place to post than my first outdoor dining experience during quarantine at Pacific Catch located in Main Street Cupertino?

The outdoor dining experience couldn’t have been more pleasant with everyone following covid protocols! 🙏🏻 The lobster roll was AMAZING, just LOOK at how much lobster they put!!! 🦞 plus, it was on a soft delicious sweet roll with avocado (so good). 😋
